"Quars d'una" in TRIPLE MORTAL"

Triple mortal. The precariousness as a subsistence strategy.

TRIPLE MORTAL  is a pedagogical and artistic project that has emerged from de collaboration between three public cultural institutions in the city of Barcelona: the Escola Massana, La Capella – an exhibition space specializing in young artists and Fabra I Coats – Barcelona Art Factory.

In this environment, the collective Quars d’una composed by Maria Díez, Carla García, Sandra Llusà i Clara Niubó, have presented a selection of pieces that prioritizes the symbolic value of the jewel, claiming the single piece and craftsmanship versus mass manufacturing, which causes global homogenization.
