The jewels are from the collections ‘Grace' and 'Amulets’. The collection Grace consists of festive jewels, made out of silver, copper and gold wire with crystal, pearls and precious stones. The wire is formed into luxurious jewels by different textile techniques. West-African amulets are the inspiration for the collection ‘Amulets'. The leather pouches or metal cases are transformed into semi-transparent airy containers. Sometimes the precious content is partly visible. Sometimes symbolism remains only in mysterious signs.
